We have decided to sell our exceptionally nice 2009 17T trailer. The trailer has many upgrades to it and in 2019 we took it to 1 of the 2 legacy HiLo factory shops to have a new roof installed, brand new cables and a new (factory) fiberglass nose cone complete with graphics, and lots of other upgrades recommended. The trailer is in truly exceptional condition. This work was personally done by Joel at PJ Woodworks and it cost over $8000. There is over $16,000 invested in this trailer.
Our price is $14,000.
There are many other improvements and upgrades to this trailer. Special bead-board paneling (no it is not covering up problems!), the low density factory seat cushions were replaced with special order high density foam, I built pull-out trays for the hanging closet (a truly great idea as we carry the trays into the house and fill with clothes), there are cargo nets under the upper bunk (great for pillows or clothes, additional wiring outlets for 12 VDC. I created a partial drop down for the upper bunk that allows good head room while providing accessible storage while camped. The couch converts into a single bed and the dinette drops into another bed; the couch and dinette can be combined into a king size bed. It is a very comfortable sleeper.
The tires are Load Range E, dual propane tanks are each 30 gal, dual deep cycle batteries, the brakes work well. Everything works as it should including the A/C. Dual fans for the refrigerator cooling. There's even bead socks to seal the door gaps. The inside shower has never been used but it is complete with the factory curtain! Our trailer pulls great and by our local scales weighs just over 3000#.
We pull it with a Chevy Colorado and we keep it under roof in a steel barn.
