I am a new member and just purchased a 1977 HI LO. For being 37 years old it's in pretty good shape. I want to totally redo interior as it has some water damage to side walls and around ceiling exhaust fan. If someone has undertaken a complete interior remodel and has pictures I would love to see them. In looking at it, my first question would be how to replace top section wall paneling. Do you have to remove top section completely? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum! Do a search on the forum of remodel or restoration. Several members have done extensive remodels of their trailers. Their are several pictures of the progress.

you dont have to completely remove top section but getting it to raise as high as possible would be a big help. you can jack the top up carefully but I would suggest jacking both sides at once till inside ledges are at least flush. this will keep you from having to work down in that channel. My wall board was glued to the metal frame and the styrofoam insulation an was a job to remove. Before beginning the inside, I would suggest resealing everything on the outside so you get leaks stopped before putting new stuff inside to get ruined. I did a complete remodel on mine and the pictures are on here.
