Thank you, I was a little nervous getting started with the project as I've never worked on an RV before but once I got the ball rolling the nervousness turned to excitement to see the end result. I must say, I am happy with the turn out and love the RV even more. now I need to find out how to fresh in up the outside.

I bought a cheap spray gun at harbor freight, painted my fridge and washer and dryer with it, now I think I'm ready to do a base/clear on the camper. that's my plan anyways.

It's almost exactly like my 88. Bathroom was reverse in mine with wardrobe on the right. Nothing like that now. Had to change that bathroom setup up a bit. Check that outlet on the outside where the AC plugs in. Thats where mine was leaking and the water dripping from the AC went right over it so it was getting wet everytime the AC was on. Good luck and hope to see pics as you progress!

HiLo restoration

We had to do a rebuild of our 1990 HiLo 25ft. Classic. Your pictures bring back memories. Here is the link to our rebuild story. 3-SamTLPX's Library Photobucket. 4-6-2014 Link Wall repair. Misfit is right a huge leak area is the outside plug for the airconditioner. Another source of watrer intrusion is the windows. All of them need to be taken out and resealed with butyl tape and caulked on the outside with lexel caulk. You tube has a video on how to do this. We don't claim to be experts. All I can tell you is it has been several years and when we recently camped in heavy rains we were Hi and dry. You will want to use a multi tool to remove the wet stained luan. Then evaluate the condition of your stryofoam. Keep posting pictures so I can further advise you. Any rusted metal we found was treated with rust oleum primmer and two coats of topcoat rustoleum. Get your exterior roof sealed /repaired first. Keep us posted.
