I have for sale a 1996 Hilo tow lite 22'. We have owned it three years and purchased it off of the original owner. It has been well taken care of. Sleeps 4, couch slides out to make bed, and dinette folds down to make a bed. The front bed is about a twin size and dinette is almost a full. This camper tows great and is lightweight 2640 dry weight 4000lbs max. Hitch weight is 290lbs, I have the owners manual as well.
Asking 5800.00, you can email @ tony@sheiplinecontracting.com. Or reply here

Do you have more photos that are 'upright' ? Can you be more specific about the floor plan ? Any other pertinent details ? Water leaks, equipment issues, age of tires, etc. ? I previously owned two Hi Lo campers so am familiar with all aspects.

Jack, got it thanks. This sounds like a deal but having done so many repairs and maintenance on my 2009 I suspect there are some issues that will require money and attention.

After talking to others and looking at campers to rent I feel that Hi Lo campers were built much better than newer ones. I would still like to see the layout as the couch/main bed look like they would be in the way if left down as a bed. Perhaps I should try to fine the layout somewhere on the Hi Lo website. Do you have any recommendations ?

My bed platform takes up half the living space of the trailer if it's left in place. I suspect you would find the bed in a larger model would also restrict the available space.

Jack, I would need a bed that stays down with a custom mattress. I purchased three different foam pads and still had difficulty with my back. I also meant to ask for a floor plan instead of layout. As much as this sounds like a deal and something I could tow with my 6 cyl. 4 Runner I am not interested in more maintenance and repairs. That is why I sold my 1509.
