1998 Hi-Lo TowLite 24TD
Someone is going to get a deal on a newly renovated Hi-Lo.
We inherited this Hi-Lo from family in 2022 and, in honor of its previous owners, lovingly gave it a second life. We’ve used it for about a year and it’s brought many smiles. It’s going to make its new owners just as happy.
The first owners enjoyed this trailer through many happy years of retirement. Maintenance was performed regularly and of course the cables were replaced with better material. As time went by, it got used a little less and sat for a few years prior to 2022. Mother Nature even thought about claiming it for herself but we put a stop to that, rebuilding the left upper wall over the summer of 2022.
There are many, many new parts and upgrades as well as extensive services performed. We can send you a 2-page document listing all in detail, but here are some of the major items:
Exterior
• New aluminum wheels and radial tires (tires upgraded from 175 B to 185 C).
• New brake drums, bearings, and seals.
• New brakes and all new brake system wiring from coupler to wheel.
• New 12V external/A-frame wiring including 7-pin connector, e-brake, breakers, etc.
• New LED exterior lighting including motion sensing porch light.
• Roof seams cleaned, caulked and covered with Dicor Seam Tape. Roof coated with Dicor Metal Roof system (primer, top coat).
• New AC shroud and black tank vent.
• New front and rear HDPE “trunks” (superior to OEM).
Interior
• All new upper cabinets and new pulls and hinges all around.
• New ceiling and walls.
• New LED lights – interior is very bright now but lights can be turned down.
• Wiring inspected, replaced, and connections renewed as required. USB 3.0 charge ports added.
• New bathroom wall dividers and curtain.
• Tub/shower – new surround etc. (superior to OEM).
• 12V / Top Control Panel – replaced with new panel, switches, and voltmeter.
• Maxxair Fan (correct model for Hi-Lo roof) and new rain-proof vent cover.
Again, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We’re not selling this trailer just to flip it. It’s more important to us that we honor its legacy and that it lands in good hands, to be appreciated for the unique trailer that it is for many more years to come. Feel free to reach out with any questions. We’re asking just $6000 but we’re open to offers… especially offers from folks who can give it a good home. The trailer is in southeast PA. Dry weight is 3264 lbs, max is 4400 lbs.
