Anyone have any ideas?? Pump is brand new (rebuild) battery is fine, pulleys and safety bar r operating fine camper is level. Cylinder seems to be getting held back as its trying to lift (like the cables are caught on something). My first attempt to raise after getting the rebuilt pump in went very slow, but got 99% of the way up (never made it all the way up). Didn't hear any strange noises etc. each additional try to raise ended up less and less till now it barely moves. Any advice??

How about putting a pressure gauge on the pump output to make sure you are getting full pressure. Trash stuck in a pressure relief valve or the "down" solenoid would cause low pressure but would be an easy fix.

Yes, the shop press tested it to 1600 psi I believe. Biggest worry is that it went up the first time, but degraded More and more. Thanx again

Are you sure the battery is fine? It sounds like it is on the weak side. Also, check the connections, especially the ground at the pump.

Yes, brand new battery pushing 13+ on my multimeter. Brand new battery cables and clamps. Pun runs strong, just no lift. Going to try to bleed the system next. Thanks for ur help

If you have not check the fluid level, it may have filled the cylinder and emptied the fluid tank, on your first lift.

If it seems like it is in a bind id check the cylinder and the guide. Make sure the cylinder is lubed real good. You may decide to take the assembly apart so it doesn't pull the cables when engaging the pump. I guess you could Run the pump then and see if it moves freely. At Least then you can rule out the cables and pulleys. But before you do that, remember that you must get the cylinder back in. Someone else may have some advise on either doing that or not doing that. I've never done it but just trying to brainstorm a little to do the process of elimination.
