JimL -- I'm sorry that I have not responded sooner to your message of a couple of months ago as to whether or not we will be attending the Houston Hi-Lo Rally. Regretfully, we will not be attending. Our son and his family are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground on the dates of the Rally. They just purchased a new Air Stream and are eager to use it. I'm just catching up on my Hi-Lo forum reading since we've returned from Sarasota, FL and Raleigh, NC. You did not miss much in Florida this year; we didn't find that the temperatures in Sarasota were that much warmer than the temperatures here in the Charleston, SC for January/February. We did take about 2 weeks to go to Barbados; now, that was the highlight of the trip, great climate, happy people, an industrious island whose people will bend over backward to help you out.
How is that leg of yours doing. Beach and I hope you have gotten rid of the infection and are back on your feet soon. You probably know that the new prosthetic devices have come a long way in technology since the last one you used. My niece is a prosthetic and orthotic engineer for Hangar (sp?) in Atlanta. If you are not "warm and fuzzy" as to the new appliance information and how it should fit properly, I can hook you two up for a discussion or consultation.
We are just getting our Hi-Lo dewinterized for the camping season and hope we will be up your way soon. If you are up and about, we would love to stop and see you and may be go to lunch. You really know the best places for lunch around there. E-mail us at
deenbea@bellsouth.net or call us at
843-873-1045 in Summerville, SC to let us know how you are doing. Beach got a new Apple I-Phone and lost your e-mail address and phone number from his old phone, so send us that again. Beach and I send our love to Faye.
