82 Hilo funlite stove

3 people restoring this trailer, everything on it is original. We just about have all the leaks sealed up, but now we need to know how to properly hookup the gas to the stove. None of us have experience with gas stoves, let alone in an rv. There's a copper gas line that's all bent up coming from behind what would be the counterparts for the sink/stove/refrigerator. I have seen a similar post on here, but have the same problem-it's not yet road-legal to drive to a dealership for an inspection. Any help would be much appreciated.

copper line is the gas line...bends are not an issue...kinks are.
There should be a flare on the copper pipe end and a nut on the line that will connect the line to the stove bottom You will need to raise the stove from the counter to connect. It just lifts up.
Tighten well. Also, tighten the line to the furnace and refridge also.
When all tight, turn on the gas tank and LISTEN AND SMELL. DO NOT USE A FLAME TO CHECK FOR LEAKS, spray the gas joints with a soapy solution, and whether bubbles appear. They may be very small bubbles so don't be in a hurry
Propane smells like rotten eggs. If you smell or hear a leak turn off the gas.
Once you have no leaks, turn on the stove valve and light the stove.

Do this at all 3 appliances

You have an old trlr. You may need to replace the pressure valve at the gas tank to ensure correct pressure and flow at the appliances. You will have poor flame control and heat if incorrect pressure. (You do that AFTER you know that the gas line is correct.)

You don't need a dealership for these checks.....but pay attention, it is gas!
