Ok. Troubleshooting......

I can light my gas Atwood but after lit for a minute it goes out also blowing the pilot out........?

Am I missing something?

I’ll be away from my Hi lo for another week, so I can’t take a close look right now. Most gas and propane burning devices have a probe in the flame zone that act as a safety shut off if flame isn’t detected and shut off gas flow for safety. They are on my household propane furnace and wall mount garage propane space heater. When dirty, it will cause the effect you describe.
On my house heater, I removed the sensor and very lightly rubbed it with a very crisp $1 bill. Reinstalled and all was good.
I’ll try and have a look at our units to see if they have a similar probe.

Or, rub it on your pants leg, which is what a furnace repairman did when our natural gas furnace stopped working! ;) I think you can use most ANY cleaning approach as long as it won't damage the little device. (He was wearing jeans - don't do it on tuxedo pants! :D)

I have a problem with my water heater, electric works fine, but no gas, I have checked with the meeter and no gas, I did check inside at the stove yes the meeter is working. The electric ignition tries to lite the gas but no gas, can anyone help or should I get a repair person?
