I thought I would share this as it turned out better than I expected. I built this with the intent to have a place for my youngest to nap and sleep. After it was built I quickly realized I needed a spot to store it when we wanted to use the dinette table. It was too thick to go on top of the bunk bed, so I used the same method to store it as I did for when it is in use. The bonus of this is that I can put supplies in the bed when towing without falling out and, all the weight is over the axles!

Cool!

This is wonderful!

We just finished a month long trip with a 10-11 month old. Our solution was a little less elegant. We put a pack and play on the couch and draped a heavy curtain over the top like an a-frame tent.
