best fiberglass cleaner and polish?

My mojo has leaf stains on it (I now have it covered with a tarp - didn't before) that have left gray spots after I washed the dirt off (I cleaned it with car soap which then took off the shine).

What is the best cleaner to get rid of those spots? What should I then use to protect the fiberglass as it has very little shine after I washed it trying to get the leaf stains off.

They make RV cleaners available at Camping World, Walmart. Remember to never use a pressure washer. Bad news! Maguire's make a good wax. A boat shop would also have a good fiberglass wax. Also find you a cover that can breathe. Tarps are also a no no as they trap moisture and the you have that greenhouse effect. As for your battery tender, the yare available at the same places. I bought a handful of them from Harbor Freight for $4.99 on sale. I cut off the alligator clips and crimped some terminal lugs on the leads so I could screw them onto the terminal posts.

What cleaner wax to use.

You will get many different recommendations and all will probably work. Walmart sells bar keepers friend in the aisle with comet. It is a no scratch cleaner for $2.00 something. Carefully test one spot and rinse extremely well. Tooth paste cleans a dirty sole plate of a iron if the barkeepers doesn't work.After getting the spots off I would use Gell Gloss. It comes in a paste from Your local RV store or camping world. Home Depot also sell both the spray and paste. It is a cleaner,polisher and wax. We use this on our 1990 HiLo Classic. The paste is applied with micro rags and it leaves a shine on our old fiberglass. You might even try this on your spots. It will even get some more dirt off the RV even if you have already have washed it. Just keep turning your microcloth. The microclothes can be put in the washer and dedicated for Rv washing. We do the Gell Gloss treatment once a year and the water beads up nicely. Hope this helps you. I know you will be able to get the stain off your RV and get the shine back.

How to get the stains out of the fiberglass on my Hi-Lo

I had a similar problem on our 2806C and tried many different products. I finally found a product called FSR by Davis Instruments, it was easy to use and did a remarkable job of taking the stains out. I then followed up with Gel-Gloss as suggested before. My camper looks like it did when new and I follow up using the Gel-Gloss for touch ups when needed. I found the FSR at West Marine and the Gel-Gloss at Menards. The only caution that I can see, is that the FSR might damage painted surfaces, but it does wash off with water.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I have put some of those long (like 4' long) thin (maybe 4 or 6" in diameter) swim tubes ($1 at the dollar tree) under the tarp to make an air space for air flow. That works pretty well. I supposed I could buy sumbrella or whatever the heck it is called fabric to use instead.
