We got back home about a week ago after spending 6 nights at Camp Hatteras. A really nice RV park, right on the beach and bay. The island is very narrow and the park is on both sides of the road. Have been going to this park for over 15 years. Over the 6 days we had 14 to 16 inches of rain, gale force winds 40 to 60 mph, beautiful lighting shows. Never had this kind of weather before. Before going to Alaska 2 1/2 years ago I sealed all the windows and seams outside with Lexell and we did not get any leaks during this rain. Had seen a post here that questioned if the Lexell would adhere to the plastic material. I have not found any place on my HiLo where the Lexell has pulled loose from the siding since I put it on.

Just got back from five days of camping and am catching up on old posts. Wow what wild and crazy weather. We only had one day three hr. rain. The camp ranger came around and handed out a sheet of paper with the national weather alert. It was predicted for 60 mile an hr. winds and strong rain. We didn't get the winds. It rained so hard only hardside units came in the state park to set up. After the rain subsided the tent and pop up campers set up. We turned off our Ac to prevent problems during the thunder and lightening. Our friends said the power went on and off frequentlt in our city. Thought maybe I would come home to a blinking microwave ect. We are in such a drought 6 " is our defecit. The storm helped to put some green in our lawns.
