Just got back today from five days of camping. We went to a state park 2hrs. away from our home. The first day it rained that evening. The next day we had an all day down pour. Our 1990 0ld faithful HiLo was "Hi and DRY". No problems. We took a friend with us and she slept in a tent. Then we had a skunk wandering around several campsites. She was scared and slept in her car for two night. The weather was variable with a little bit of airconditioner use and one night of furnace use. Our ceiling co2smoke detector was old so I replaced it with a New expensive First Alert. The unit kept beeping once for low battery in July. I gave it fresh batteries three times and it kept beeping. Brought it home and it was quiet. Decided to put it on the bathtub shelf in the BR. No problems. I guess it doesn't like the ceiling in the RV. It has a seven yr. warranty against manufacturing defects. I would have to send postage x2. Bought it at Walmart. Keep me in your prayers as I am having lingering side effects from my chemotherapy even though the treatment is done. Wednesday I have to have a needle biopsy done. I called my specialist and he explained what is happening to me. Great DR.he called me back within 2minutes of my call. Having a lot of pain. Better days are ahead. Yea! more camping in Sept.
