I am going to try and post pictures of what is on the back of my camper. See pictures below. I seem to remember I had a 1989 Hilo and I think it had these too. The rollers are very heavy. I do have a steep driveway so I would need them any suggestions.I am trying to replace one that is badly damaged it has a flat surface on part of the wheel. They have a really hard rubber wheel. In need of suggestions.
I live in Texas and haven't found anyone or place that has HiLo parts.

These casters are just off the shelf parts. If you have a tractor supply or Northern tool store in your area they will have these. Camping world may have them but will be a bit more expensive.

Look at grainger.com they have extra heavy duty casters that would hold up better to your use
They should have the same mounting bolt pattern but with a heavier duty wheel

Consider getting all-metal ones. These shouldn't be any plastic imo (and I'm a fan of plastic).

Try Harbor Freight too-they'll likely be cheaper (though durability *may* be questionable)

What are the casters used for? Our unit does not have these.

They keep the end of the trailer off the ground if you go into a big dip or any other road condition that would force the back of the trailer to hit the ground. Our trailers sit pretty low to the ground and this is a possible hazard.

My trailer doesn't have them either, but I've raised the trailer so it's not much of a problem for me.
