Henry,

Where are you located? What are the front window dimensions on your 22ft? What year is your Hi-Lo? Is it a tow-lite or classic?

Here are a couple of ideas for a repair until you are ready to pay for a new window. If the window is plexiglass or lexan and the crack is closed/tight get a small can of MEK in the paint dept at Lowes or any paint store and take a eye dropper and put a drop of MEK at the top of the crack and on downward to floe the MEK into the crack. MEK will weld these two materials if the crack is tight. If the crack is open or it is a glass window run a small bead of Lexell caulk/sealer down the crack. It will seal the crack, is very strong and is very clear.

Have you checked with a glass repair shop? They probably can work with you in getting a replacement window made of plexiglass. You want to make sure you get the right thing, I don't believe it is just plain plexiglass, it may be a higher quality material. The front window in our 2310H is that type of material and it is pretty tough stuff. If I can find the name of it I will pass it along, I don't think it is Lexan.

http://www.hilotrailerparts.webs.com/ They had front windows shown on their parts page not long ago.

I dont know if that is plexi or what . I thought it was glass. I will check an if it is plexi then I got a lowes real close. Thanks

Our front window is a glass jalousie (louvre) design. I think a glass cutting shop could cut a replacement for any of those panes. And, unless your window is curved, I suspect such a shop could replace any other style too.

We've had quite a few pieces of glass cut at a local place in Tucson. It's not that expensive if you shop around.

He didn't say what year but the newer Classic models have a large curved plastic window. I think that someone on this forum replaced theirs, it was expensive. Either one of the Hi-Lo parts places may have them or should be able to get it.

Cracked fronty window

Good luck finding a new front window. You didn,t say what year your HiLo was. We cracked a jealousy window and our HiLo dealer took it to a glass shop for us. I have removed 6 windows for resealing in our HiLo. It is a DIY project if you want to do it. So glad we have the rock shield on our front window. This feature should never have been taken away in the newer HiLos.
