Our almost 20 year old Dodge Durango was getting old and we are venturing further each year so we decided to buy a new tow vehicle. We rented a Ram 2500 with a diesel engine last year and that was great, but the cost of a new or used one was way out of our price range. We decided that the Chevrolet Express 2500 with a 6.0l was the perfect fit for us. Lots of space and plenty of towing power just in case we upgrade our trailer in the future. Tow capacity is 9600 lbs and that's more that enough for most travel trailers.

congrats on the new to you vehicle.

In December we also picked up a used F250. Our third ford truck. The old F250 was 21 yrs. old with a Lariat cab. We bought it new when our daughter was young. Now at 29she was squished in the back seat. Looked on the internet for a good six months. Finaly one came available at a Ford dealership 2hrs round trip from our home. Had fun customizing it and recently put a cap on it. Some day soon I will post pictures. We are under a deadline to get some door refinishing done at church for Easter. Seems like the job will never end. Our truck had 40thousand miles on it. Barely broken in for a gasser. Love the crew cab/four doors.

Have a buddy who towed with the same van in a 3500. It makes a great combination. Have fun
