Hello everyone,
I have a small problem on my 2589RD Voyager and the rate of descent. It seems the speed at which it lowers is very fast causing hydraulic fluid to spew out of the breather-filler cap. When I refill it to the proper level with the top section down (to about 1 inch from the top of holding tank fill hole), it spills out every time I lower it. I notice that if I lower it in 1-2 second spurts it doesn't spew out. Can anyone tell me if there is an adjustment screw or valve on this model year to adjust the rate of descent?? My hi-lo does not have the manual pump setup; if that helps. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Being that the lowering process is done with gravity and all you're doing is returning the fluid back to the reservoir, try running it up and down a few times without servicing it and see where your fluid settles in the reservoir, then service.
