hi all... I just bought a 2003 29 foorter. I got it home yesterday afternoon and parked it. I didn't raise the top as I had not leveled it. This morning I went to level it and the power jack would not work. I checked the power switch and it was off. The batteries are brand new. When I listened in side I heard what sounded like a fan running, I plugged the trailer in to the shore line and was able to level the trailer. I finally found the fan, it was the inverter. I do not remember hearing it when we were checking out the trailer before coming home. Any idea why it was running when power was off?

Welcome to the Forum!

The fan in the converter should only run when the trailer is plugged into shore power and only when there is a heavy draw on the battery or the battery is in a very low state of charge. Never let the battery drop below 12 volts as it will shorten the battery's life. Normally the power jack is connected straight to the battery, if factory installed, and does not go through the main power switch, it has an inline fuse.

thanks The batteries are brand new so I put them on my tender and have the shore line plugged in. I will check the batteries with my charger today.
do you know where I can get a cabinet handle?

I assume you mean handles on the interior cabinets. Take one to Home Depot or Lowes and see what you can match. You may have to get all new ones to get a matched set. The important thing is to get them to match the holes in the cabinets.
