Hello all, I had a few endcap (and for people doing a search end cap ) questions.

1. I've noticed a few small cracks and did drill a small hole at the end to stop them. (played in a few band where the drummer did this to cymbals) My question is do I just fill in the crack with lexel?

2. There are only two screws holding the sides in place and I'm noticing some bowing in the middle. Should I buy some screws and start filling more in along the sides?

3. The back top right hand corner of the 2204T does have some bowing of the endcap. It's not that bad but noticeable. Should I take any precautions?

Thanks guys love the trailer! My last trip I avg 17 mpg in my little v6!

My back end cap only had a few screws so I added to match the front end cap, which was about every 8 inches.

!. yes and keep eye on it

2. No more screws should or would be needed. There is a trim piece that has plastic insert that has screws every 8" under the insert. top and bottom on mine. Same for end cap and sides

Is this the top or bottom?

3.Mine has some minor bowing. It is Fiberglass mounted to steel, so some imperfections are normal. Mine is over 30 years old and has no cracks.

Keep and eye on it,
Not so with my 200527T.:(

thanks mucho fellas!

You can barely make out the bowing on the back panel. It's the rear top right (passenger side). It's in between the light and the hi-lo sticker.

The other picture is the front corner of the end cap. There are just two screws (for all sides) and you can make out where it wants to pull/bend away.

After looking at your pics, yours is assembled different than mine.

My end cap has a trim piece, mentioned, that runs from bottom of side- up and over to the other side to the bottom. Securing sides and top to the body.

I, defer to someone with a similar model.
Gary has the method/answer I would use.

sorry!
