Passed our 1996 26ft. inspection ($6.00). One goofy bulk that was tweaked into submission. Had our RV tech look at the drivers side of the HiLo. Two yellow streaks. DH hates taking off the trim near to the roof. Roof is not soft. Tech said to slightly peel the aluminum roof back a small amt. Take hard rubber trim off. Bed the area with butyl tape. Then rusty screws will be removed and replaced with stainless steel. Probably messed the order of repairs. Then caulk where the roof meets the trim. Would have forgotten to use butyl tape. I have a catalog of RV trim parts. DH wants to order rubber trim. Hopefully no supply chain problems. We had to do this repair on our first HiLo. I will try to remember to take pictures step by step when the repair is done.

Time for repairs

Thought I would post this information again. Good weather means more DIY repairs taking place. RV Weatherstripping catalog. Steele Rubber Products. Quality Crafted Rubber Seals and Parts. Call for a free catalog 1-800-230-5897 DH decided to put a 5/8th piece of plywood under the entire dinette. This will make a sturdy base for a mattress for our adult daughter that camps with us. Found out the dinette area is not square. Oh well!! what he cut will work. Should have taken a measurement in three places from the drivers side wall. It was 82* today. Perfect for drying out the scalop on the awning. Kind of ironic that he had the plywood from our former HiLo repair. Would hate to pay todays inflated prices for lumber.
