Went to the FMCA rally in NY. About 200some miles each way. DH turned too sharp about a block from our home. Cars were in the other lane. The weather was crazy. Rained real hard for an hour with grape sized hail. Probably dropped an inch of rain. Later that night we had a thunder lightening storm with bigger hail. Must of had a power surge as our electric went down. Had to reset the new ground fault outlet. Leaving the rally DH mentioned he slightly banged up the tire rim. Then we noticed a small tear on the sidewall. The tire was holding air. Drove home another 200 plus miles with no problems. Today was the first time DH had to put our spare on. Two jacks later and a thick block of wood did the job. We remembered about letting the air out and fighting with the skirt. Skirt is cracked in several places. Guessing others have had fun changing tires. Will get another tire and rim from our HiLo dealer. No cracked roof vents and no leaks anywhere. DD told me it didn't rain at our home. Decided to buy the trailer Aid as it is smaller than stacked 2x8s. Glad DH had wired in a surge protector as it saved the day. Had 600plus rigs at our event. Millions of dollars in realestate. Next year the Rally will be in Vermont. Will not go that far.
