I have a 2003 2203T HILo in Colorado Springs for sale $3700. I purchased it as the second owner in 2011. I will list the pros and cons of this model. Feel free to ask questions email or private message me.Send phone number and I can send some more photos incl original receipt .. I will not be able to deliver it. EVERYTHING WORKS IE IF I LIST AIR CONDITIONING ETC IT WORKS.. I just got back from a trip and used a/c , heat fridge, etc.
PRO:
furnace new about 5 years ago,Air conditioning
Fridge gas and A/C not sure how the DC works but it has a switch. Fan to help cool the fridge
Solar trickle charge 1 battery with room for 2,Outdoor shower\,Water heater
Overhead bunk, queen bed/couch, single bed over diner
14 ft awning replaced 5?? years ago,Weight distribution hitch
No apparent water damage that I can see.
2 propane tanks,NEW tires this year. I switched most lights to LED to save power
CONS:
Wear and tear, this is in good condition . It has dings scrapes etc. It is not showroom condition but rather a well cared for older camper.
Interior has wear ie the cheesy wall paper trim peeled off and I painted the areas. No tears etc on the upolstery
THREE YEARS AGO iI LOWERED THE TOP WHILE STOPPED ALONG THE ROAD AND IT SCRAPED ALONG THE VALANCE. I REMOVED THE VALANCES AROUND THE BLINDS AND HAVE RAISED AND LOWERED THE TOP AT LEAST 25 TIMES WITH NO PROBLEM. AFTER ASKING FOR HELP HERE I BELIEVE MAYBE THE CABLE NEEDS MINOR ADJUSTMENTS?? OR I WAS NOT LEVEL?? GUIDES LOOK GOOD , AND I HAVE MADE NO ADJUSTMENTS AS THERE ARE NO HILO MECHANICS AROUND ME. MAYBE THE VALANCE WAS STIKING OUT? lAST ITEM IS THE SEALS AROUND THE TOP AND BOTTOM ARE IN POOR CONDIONS I USE POOL NOODLES CUT IN HALF TO SEAL THE TOP AND BOTTOM WHEN IN USE. NO SIMPLE WAY TO REPLACE THE SEAL. Oven door does not close completely. I wedge it closed if baking.
