Help no power radio

Hello all my hi-lo friends. Question we just bought a 1987 hi-lo fun chaser in need of a little love. So this radio that's installed in our hi-lo has absolutely no power where to start to figure it out would really love to get working while we do the work. Any help welcome and appreciated

Here's how I'd troublshoot it:

Are all your 12 volt lights working (the radio is probably on the same circuit as some of your 12 volt lights)? This is an easy indicator of whether most of the 12 v circuits are OK.

Check the 12 volt fuses in your power converter. If you're lucky, it's just a bad fuse.

If the fuses are all good, pull the radio out and check for power coming into the back of the radio (with your electric multimeter, you do have one, right?). If you're getting power to the back of the radio, you can rule out power supply and identify the radio as being bad.

Well unfortunately we not lucky lights all work along with a.c. and fridge fuses all looked good on to the next step. Thank you for your advice

Yeah, so I'd go ahead and check to make sure there is power coming into the unit, If so, time for an upgrade! Wouldn't such a bad thing anyway. I'm upgrading my 2007 with a bluetooth enabled so I can play from my phone. If there is no power, than the fun begins tracing it to where it would be

You might also look for another power switch to the radio. Some units were installed so the power to the unit was on any time there was power to the interior lights. Some members, including me, installed an additional power switch so we could turn the radio completely off when not in use. Mine is just a simple toggle switch inside the cabinet next to the radio.

I have a 1990 25ft. Classic. It had a big radio with casette player. Didn't look like your radio. We just purchased a car Radio at Walmart and replaced. The radio was much smaller. DH cut a thin piece of stained up board to mount the radio to. Doesn't cost that much for a new unit. I have had experiences where a fuse looked good,but it wasn't. Try new fuses anyway. Keep us posted.

I had an 88 fun chaser. There was a switch for the radio directly to the left of it. Looks to me in your first pic the bezel is there but the switch is missing. I would start there. Edit: just looked closer and saw the switch is there. That's where I would check for power first.
