I have a 2007 19' hi-lo with a bad solenoid (due to factory not tightening it up, and it arched/shorted out) Could anybody recommend a source for this solenoid? It is totally unlike any auto part. I am not much for making something fit that is ALMOST right. I much prefer to find an exact match. To give you an idea of what it looks like: It has 2 large lugs at 3 and 9 oclock, and 2 small lugs at noon and 6 oclock - so to speak. The lugs are on the end, not the top. Thanks for any help! Bob ps: After much searching I found a solenoid that has the SAME configuratioin of lugs as my unit, except both small lugs are at 11 oclock and 2 oclock. That is a plus, for me. I bought it at The Nationwide (?) Tractor Supply, # 4441965.

I think someone here got a replacement for theirs at an auto parts store. Stay tuned, somebody will come along with the needed info.

12volt solenoid are pretty much all the same with the exception of design and how the small wire goes to ground. Some ground by connection in the case of a solenoid that mounts to a non conductive source and some ground to the metal bracket of the solenoid for those applications that mount it to metal.
check out the various configurations on google.
