I've been lurking awhile and decided to make my first post! We had a 60s model Hi-lo way back when I was a kid and I've never forgotten it. After looking for what seems forever, we made a trip from Albuquerque to Flagstaff, AZ and came home with a trailer! We got a 1999 Towlite 24D that's in really good shape from the second owners that had it 2 years and never used it once. The tires were kinda questionable, so I replaced all 5 before we hit the road coming home. Other than that, everything seems to be in good working order.

Now it's time to tighten latches, do a thorough cleaning and look for the little things. Can't wait to get it squared away and on the road!

New towlite hi lo owner

Welcome to the forum. Have fun detailing your hilo. Lots of good info on the forum. We are all very helpful so ask any questions. Good thing to put on all new tires as blowouts are very costly.

Welcome aboard! First thing, do a thorough inspection of the lift system, cables, pulleys, cylinder, and guide rod. Next, very important, lubricate the lift system. There is plenty of info here on the forum, just do a search for lift system, cables, etc. Of course, there are the owners manuals in the library section.
