I am currently looking at a Hi lo camper and the individual selling it only has a bill of sale. He has stated that it is a 1971. But the model # 17572R makes me think it is a 1972. Any help would be appreciated.

Does he have the title? I think that would show the year. I'd be careful buying a trailer without a title. Other members have had great difficulty registering trailers without titles.

Model 17572R should be a 17 ft "Traveler" model year 1972. Here is a link that shows the brochures for that year: https://hilotrailer.com/home/then#1970 Click on the year 1972 and you should see a page showing the one he has.

I see you're in Illinois, me too. Being a "car guy" from a very young age I can tell ya that Illinois is not only the land of the highest everything cost of living wise but our DMVs are the worst about being anal about the "no title" thing. Is the seller also in Illinois?
If not, some states don't issue titles/ there may be around the Illinois PITA ness, with a trip to their DMV before you complete the deal
