HiLo awning shorter than Standard Trailer?

I just had new fabric put on my HiLo 15t. The new awning comes out further than the old awning. If I pull it all the way out it will come out of the track. I am going to mark the track so I don't pull it out too far. But this does not allow the valance to hang down. It is useable the way it is but it would be nice to have the valance hang down and not have to worry about the track separating. Has anyone found a solution for this other than cutting the awning and reinstalling?

Thanks,

Johnnie

Johnnie, I seem to remember that the awnings on our smaller trailers are 10 ft long. I would call that the "width" of the awning. When you extend the awning, you are unrolling what I would call the "length" of the fabric. Which dimension are you concerned with? I'm a bit confused (probably due to my advanced age) from your post.

Awning material

Perhaps someone with a 15T could measure the width and extended length of the awning. The short answer is some HiLos have shorter awnings due to the uniqueness of the HiLo.

I have a 2403T model and just found out the following. The A&E assembly is a 841ET14.400. This is a 14foot long awning, center arm to center arm. However the width, ie. how far it extends is only 7 feet. This was verified today with Dometic, The 841 number on the model number is the key. They can cut a new one for you as well. The part number is B3109003XX.414. XX is the color code and NT would be AZURE.
