This is probably a dumb question, but we have two shelves in our trailer that we would like to replace. One is the shelf inside the kitchen cabinet below the P-trap which is bowed from water. The other is one of the shelves next to the swing up dinette table which looks like a plant or other container that leaked was set on it. Can anyone tell me where this shelving/paneling may be found? Or maybe I just go to Home Depot and get something similar?
Thanks

I made a couple of shelves for our trailer cabinets out of 3/8 birch plywood from Home Depot. It stains well so it looks nice, and once stained, I covered them in polyurethane.

Luckily, when we picked up our new trailer on Wednesday, the dealer had replaced the shelf below the kitchen sink. Now I only need to fix the one beside the fold up table. Temporarily, I just put some shelf liner on it. :)

Replacing shelf

I was in Walmart today and saw some pretty contact paper. I also like jacks idea of plywood, stain and polyurethane. It all boils down to preferences and $.

Maybe the contact paper would work. I hadn't thought of that. I think I would need to smooth off the surface first as it is rippled/ridged from what ever leaked. Thank you.

Fixing shelf

I would use an electric sander to see if you can smooth the shelf down. I also had a small night stand in my home that delaminated from a humidifier. I used wood filler and then used a bit of leftover wallpaper. The same wallpaper is on the walls of this bedroom. Not a perfect repair, but usable. I have also taken some thin wood and glued on a new top. Stain and polly first. Home Depot sells some ready to go shelves.
