Monarch pump parts

Pumps connected and running tks to Tony at Butchers Hyd. That’s done now I find that the lift cylinder is bad and not one rv repair shop will tell me how much to remove/repair and reinstall, about ready to throw in the towel.

There's a thread on cylinder removal that was posted by Treeclimber, It's here: https://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f22/how-to-remove-and-replace-the-hydraulic-lift-cylinder-5818/

I wouldn't trust any RV shop to do this work. They don't know how and they'll likely do a crappy job. Get the cylinder out yourself and take it to a shop that does hydraulic work for a rebuild. Then, reinstall it.

We owners can fix anything that's wrong in our HiLos better than any commercial shop. When I get too feeble to do the work myself, that's the time to quit camping. So far, at 83, I'm still able to do the work, so I still camp.

Thanks for the response Treeclimber. I was a millwright many years ago, so I understand the work but at 81 it’s not anything I’m anxious to do. I agree with you though, when I just can’t do the work on it it’s time to sell. It’s gotta be done so the tools will come out.
