Ya'll helped me find the converter, fuse box! My problem was from the old battery.

Now, have any of you been able to add a room (yep, need to) to a Hilo?

I know this is an insult to Hilo 'purests'.

I am moving in to it in order to repair my ancient mobil home.

Thanks for ANY advice.

Adding a room

Someone in our HiLo camping group had an add a room. They have since sold the HiLo. I don't know what brand it was.

You can always build a wood frame room on pier blocks no need to attach it to the trailer just use garage door gasket material between the two
Option 2 is a plastic shed and modify it to what you need

Sam - I think what you're referring to is a screen enclosure that drops down from the awning. I suspect AnnE wants something more permanent (and "livable").

Those were good suggestions, Les.

AnnE - How long is it going to take to make your mobile home livable? Seems to me like the time you spend adding a room to the HiLo would be better spent working on your trailer.

There is a extend a room for the HiLo . It is made of heavy gage material . And has a floor. For you it would be perfect . Not real easy to set up . You will have to do a search for a extend a room for a HiLo . I only saw one once at the Manroe, Mi HiLo rally which our club hosted .

My mobile home needs a lot of work.
And I really love staying in the Hilo.

I thank all you for your help!

Jack, I noticed you are using TPMS. I've been considering doing so, but won't replacing the valve caps with a larger/heavier attachment cause the wheels to be out of balance?

Jon, I have not noticed ANY change in the tire balance in my truck when I mount the sensors. Yes, they ARE heavier, I think one ounce or maybe less, but I have no road vibration when traveling at any speed either with or without the sensors mounted.

Of course there's no way for me to detect vibration on the trailer, but there's no odd tire wear there.

I've found a great deal of "peace of mind" by having the ability to monitor both tire pressure and temperature in both my truck and trailer when traveling.
