Hi, new member here. Bought a 1978 Hi-Lo trailer Title says it has a Ser. No. of 7276. I think it's a 21 footer but don't know for sure. Does anyone know what the model is?

Didn't originally come with a shower but I'd like to install one, is this feasible?

Currently the Hi-Lo is gutted, want to rebuild (maybe a bridge too far?).

pullbehind, welcome to the forum. If you venture down to the forum library, you'll see Hi Lo brochure heading. There you can click on the many floor plans out there and choose one you like or design your own interior. Have fun, I say "the right way is a myth".
and "If you can see what isn't there, then you can do the impossible". Just my opinion.

Welcome to the forum.

Before you do the remodel of the inside make sure your roof has been recoated and you have no leaks. Post pictures when you can.

To go along with above ROOF: Windows reseal is cheap and lets you see whats going on in walls...Just off top of head shower install would be easy enough if ya got SPOT..What to do with waste water would probably be major headache..Never done it but its my best guess...Baby Wipes work too!!! LOL Dry Campers Shower

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, this Spring I'll start on it and see how much I got to do. I've done my share of home remodeling and car repair, just never with an RV. We'll see how it develops, I'll be sure to let you guys know.

If the inside of the trailer is totally gutted as stated, and you start your own thing, be sure to keep weight distribution in mind when adding beds, cabinets, refrig, shower, etc.

Hi my name Frank I live in south Louisiana. I have a 78 Hilo 25 ft that been in the family for years. I myself have rehab it twice just to see it back in need to redo it again. Between the bad roads and amount of moisture we have it hard to keep up with the maintenance needed for a trailer of this one age. So I’ve decided to put it to use in another way. I’m planning on gutting the interior and make it a mobile spray booth for cabinet doors so I can have them painted on site rather then transport back an forth to shop. If you like a can send you pic of it lay out and condition of interior which you can have just make arrangements for transport. I’m about a month away from starting this project so if interested email me at glassman66@att.net.

To know the length, measure total length including the tongue. That would be the size of your trailer. Not just the size of the cabin prat. The total length. Good luck with rebuilding. I did a lot of work on mine also.
