Hi all,

This seems like a great place to learn! Just got this 17 HiLo, haven't even taken it out yet and it's the biggest thing I have ever owned, outside of a house. Am not even sure of where to go with this thing!-- but thought it could be fun for the grandchildren and maybe if I can manage an extended trip. I got hooked on this because tent camping is a little more of a challenge, though much more doable with these air mattresses. Am pulling it with my 92 GMC Safari, which is in great condition except for this little strain between 1st and 2nd gears in the automatic transmission, so we'll see how long this is viable. Thanks for being there!

Jannah, Welcome to the Hi Lo schoolhouse! We'll help you through the learning curve as best we can. Suggest you take a bit of time , go the the reference library, under Hi Lo owners manual, you'll find a "sticky" for about 32 very short videos covering most Hi Lo systems. From raising/lowering, waste management etc. Very informative.

Very cool purchase you made!
Your GMC should handle it fine, but I'd look into installing an auxiliary transmission cooler.
Enjoy!
