Old news??? Hi lo parts

Is this old news? Found this site I wasn't aware of. The parent company, Midget Trailers, has a 2015 model so at least ThEY are current. I thought the price on the bulb seal was interesting.

Rick, It is kinda old news but well worthy to bring up again. Joel, that owns Midget is a son or son-in law of the original Hi-Lo owners. When they folded up shop, he started selling Hi-Lo parts and started the Midget trailers shortly thereafter. Between them and JR Repair, they are probably the two main suppliers of Hi-Lo parts.

Thanks Ruben. After I posted I found some old posts discussing it. I'm sure I had seen them..... Just " old guy" brain, I guess. But, yes, maybe handy info for newer members looking for parts solutions. BTW - I'm headed out there in June. I realize it's the hottest time of the year but maybe some relief at higher elevations. Supposedly my " pad" will be done. We will see. Going to Durango first then down through NM to Fort Davis. Any NM campgrounds you like on the way?

Rick

Hopefully I won't need any of these parts for a very long time... But it's nice to know where to look.

Plus I'm posting for future reference.;)

Rick, Ft. Davis should be nice that time of the year. I actually got cold wearing shorts at the Star Party at the McDonald Observatory. There are plenty of BLM campgrounds along the way in NM. Just depends on the way you plan on coming down.

Rick, if you could use any advice about Durango area please let me know as I live here.

Thanks, Bruce. Im going out to see my cousin who lives just outside of town and has worked for years there as a forester. But he doesn't know everything, especially when it comes to trailer accessible campgrounds ( he tends to grab his sleeping bag and two dogs and a water filter and just head off cross country....). :) So I will let you know. I also posted in the "camping trips" section on suggestions for heading through Northern new Mexico. Thanks

Rick

Just an FYI, when I was at Midget's last year, he mentioned that he might also be stocking the front glass for classic models...it will be clear plastic, but he is working with the mold manufacturer now...I am sure it won't be cheap. He said the original mold for the glass version was destroyed and not available anymore. In case anyone wants to know....
