Older Tow Lites?

We have been watching for some time and really would like something newer but there is a 1997 24' Tow-Lite at a dealer north of us. We haven't had a chance to get up there yet to look. It is the floor plan I want (TD with it turning into a king bed, I think) but 1997 was a long time ago. We have had older RVs and know the potential issues with appliances, tires, etc. but would there be anything unique to the Tow-Lite that might be a deal breaker as in difficult or impossible in price/task. This dealer is also high-priced but you never really know what deal you can make when standing there with cash-in-hand. They have a couple other newer units but they are 22' and we are trying to not have the climb-over bed thing. Thoughts appreciated!:)
 
I may be wrong, but I believe that was one of the model years that had wood framing which was prone to rotting from water leaks. You would want to look for water stains inside on the ceiling and walls, and for bulging on the outside walls. There plenty of threads here about those problems and how to fix them. I would approach cautiously.
 
The 1999's had wavy siding but had a metal frame underneath,
