Our HI-LO is in good condition for a 1997. The top half of the camper is showing it's age and years of UV exposure. Particularly the finish on the front and rear caps which have excessive oxidation and discoloration. I have talked to a local body shop about painting and clear coating those areas as well as the propane cover (This body shop was recommended by our local RV Dealer). The price quoted is $800. Any recommendations would be appreciated?

Painting HiLo

Not a paint expert. Sounds like a fair price to me. If you love the HiLo and plan on keeping it for a very long time then go, for it. This not a job for an amateur. Lots of skill and prep work involved.

Thank you Sam, I intend on letting the pro's do the painting. I will post a before and after photo. I am hoping to find the HI-LO logo decal to re-install on the ends. I sent an email to J&R regarding the decal. Rob replied right away that they have some in stock and also they own a sign company. I sent him photos to see if they can hook me up. Stay tuned.

Or you can always come up with a customized design, like one of the members did with penguins. :D
