In the process of replacing the refrigerator in my '93, 18 ft Towlite, I discovered that the refrigerator ducting closed off upper vent. The first picture shows how this top duct was installed. The second picture shows the cross section of the sheet metal piece that bridged between the top of lower vent and ceiling of compartment. The circled on the third picture shows how the sheet metal should have been constructed to route air from lower vent through fins and then free flowed out upper.
1) Has anyone else seen this type of error in construction?
2) Does anyone know when HI-Lo started installing fans in the compartment?
3) Am I right in assuming the cooling fans blow out?
Thanks
