Refrigerator on 12v

That's pretty normal. It will drain your battery all kinds of fast though. propane is the most efficient way of cooling the fridge followed by the AC heating element. Use 12 volt power when traveling for short distances and the fridge and all items inside are cooled down completely. I never use 12 volt. If I am plugged in, the AC selection is chosen. If I am moving or boondocking, propane is on.

Thanks for the info, but I have used it before while traveling with no problems on 12v b ut now it is not cooling' Is there a fuse?

Inside the refridgerator cover, there is a 20 amp yellow standard blade fuse that runs into the 12 volt wiring and is connected to the 12 volt heating element. This may be your issue.
