We have a 2506C. We love it, except we find it too hard to use the main dinette bed (one of us has to climb over the other to get up at night). We think the ideal solution for us would be to replace the existing jackknife sofa bed with the trifold airbed sofa that was introduced in the 2010 Hi-Los.

We'd like to hear some ideas about this plan--pros & cons, etc.

Does anyone know where we can get one of the airbed sofas? Would it be a drop-in replacement? Who was the manufacturer?

If you have a 2010-2012 Hi-Lo, do you like the airbed? Any problems with it?

Any information you have would be a help to us!

I cant help you with the airbed change. I do love air beds.
But hi-lo quit manufacturing trlrs in 2010, so finding a 2011/12 is probably not in the works.
I would contact J&R since they purchased the hi-lo parts.

That said I changed my jack-knife sofa into a table with cushions. Works excellent and converts to a bed in 1 minute or less.
But climbing over will always be an issue unless individual beds

My hi-lo is a 1985, so a gain in use and no loss in value!

If someone has a 2010 or later with the tipout ("ExpandA-Room"), please try to find a manufacturer's label on the sofa/airbed and post the manufacturer's name.
