We couldn't get replacement metal blinds with 1x1 headers. The slats lost some of the coating with washing. Plan B-Got a can of Krylon primer and paint. Then I hung a blind up with clothes pins on my clothes line. The 12 oz can didn't quite do 1 blind. It is gloss ivory. Read the directions on the can and sprayed the blinds on the front side first then the back side. Let it dry for two hrs. on a cloudy day. It came out very nice. Another trip to Walmart and I purchased the last seven cans of spray paint in stock. No I am not huffing paint!! Rain is predicted for about four days. I'll be able to stop at another Walmart coming back from chemotherapy and will buy more paint as I plan to spray paint all the plastic stop guards on the exterior and replace the last of the rusty screws.
