2007 2807C. When I operate the tipout winch under load in either direction it squeaks loudly. The sound is not a constant pitch, but ululates up and down. Sounds like maybe a worn-out bushing. Have any of you experienced this? I haven't done anything about it yet. Figured I'd get some advice first. Any suggestions for determining the cause of the noise and repairing it would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Check the motor out and make sure the gears are lubed with a little grease. I believe there is a procedure for that in the owners manual and maybe even on the video owners manuals.

The squeak comes from the gears and idler turning on the shafts, so greasing the gears will not necessarily quiet it. I used a spray lube to get between the shafts and the turny bits. This quieted it down. Make sure to place rags and paper towels around and below everything so you don't get lube on the interior.
