I have no manual for my stove. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to light the pilot light. Thanks.

I assume you are talking about your Hi-Lo. I don't believe any have a pilot, you have to light it the old fashioned way.

mwittcop: Do you actually mean the stove burners, or are you asking about the oven (assuming you have an oven)? You're not making it an easy question to answer. Can you provide a bit more information... like the year and model of your Hi-Lo, and even better, the manufacturer and model# of the stove/oven? Have you tried googling the stove manufacturer. A lot of operator manuals are available online these days.

I tend to agree with with RichR, I've seen a lot of Hi-Lo's and have never found one with stove-top burner pilots. However, our older Hi-Lo has an oven pilot, so it could be that over the past 50+ years the Hi-Lo folks put in a few stove tops that also had burner pilots. Seems like it would be a waste of gas in a camper, since the burners are so easy to match light. I've always kept the oven pilot off (lighting it only when baking) for the same reason.

mwittcop,

If you go to the Hi-Lo Co. website, select "service" on the banner menu, then click on "vendor info.," you'll find a list of Hi-Lo equipment suppliers. Most have web addresses and phone numbers. Either they'll have a downloadable operators manual, or can give you instruction over the phone. Jim
