I have a 2000 240td. Does anyone know the gallon size of the three tanks?

Have you looked at the brochures and owner manuals in the reference library of this forum? The trailers did not vary that much from year to years, so check some years before and after yours if you don't find documents for a 2000 model year.

Hidonlo, I can only go by what my 25-foot 2009 Hi-Lo had specified when it came from the factory, which was a 30-gallon fresh water tank, a 32-gallon gray water tank, and a 30-gallon back water tank. However, when dear husband sanitizes the fresh water tank each year before the start of the camping season, he said it only took 28 gallons before overflowing.

Thanks I'll look it up. We did a 2 night trip just the 2 of us. So after about 3 showers dishes a few times and trying to be quick with the water about the time the fresh water ran out the last shower backed up about a inch. I know everyone is different just wondered if this was the norm. I guess I'll get some grey water tanks and a wagon to haul to the dump station.

We don't dry camp, but just like you we take those quick "military" showers and keep soapy water in kitchen sink from dish washing after meals to use for between-meals dish washing. Those approaches conserve space in the gray water tank when we camp without sewage hookup.

I think you have a 30 grey water tank and a 17 gallon black tank. The fresh water tank is 30 gallons plus the 6 gallon water heater.

I guess we are fortunate to be able to water the grass trees with our soapy dish water. We wash at the picnic table with small plastic pans. One for washing and one for rinsing. The blue dump tank comes in handy when we are camping for two weeks at a time in the same campground.

I should have posted this in the for sale thread. The brain is a little fuzzy from surgery recovery pain pills.

Sam, I moved that trailer for sale post for you. My brain is fuzzy for no reason at all.
