Trailer Cover

I have a 1704T and am looking to buy a cover for it. Anyone have any suggestions on a good cover?

The type of cover you get should be one that is most suited to your location and climate. If you look at the ads you will probably see an explanation as to what works best for you. Here in NW PA a Sunbrella would be my first choice because it breathes and does not trap moisture, your worst enemy. If it is hot, dry and sunny most of the time maybe the Tyvec would be better.

Rich, I don't think Tyvec is good at all in the desert sun. It has a shorter warranty period too. I think the BEST choice would be Sunbrella.

Jack, I believe you are right on that. We had a Sunbrella on our Coleman and then passed it on to our daughter who has it on their Coleman now and it is holding up fine after several winters. The Coleman trailers had Sunbrella bed end canvas on them and it worked out very well. I've had no experience with Tyvec, since the words Tyvec and Pennsylvania winters don't go together.

Sunbrella has been around for a long time. Convertible tops, and storefront awnings have used it for many years.
