We have a 1989 22' Funchaser. 3 of us have slept comfortably......2 on the sofa that converts into a bed at the front end of the unit and 1 on the dinette right across from the sink. We have a drop down bunk that we haven't used. We're thinking at best we could sleep 4 with someone under 250 lbs in the bunk. We are good eaters. LOL

I don't think we could squeeze 2 of our adults in the bunk or 2 adults in the dinette sleeper. So, again we're limited to 4 adults and we'd like to look for a Hi-Lo that can sleep at least 6 adults.

We have looked at larger Hi-Lo units and found that they sleep about the same number of people as our 22' unit. We looked at a 24' or 27' Hi-Lo that had the pull out with sofa on the side near the kitchen. The bathroom was near the middle and it had a large bed at the back end of the trailer. We figured you could sleep 4 in the unit maybe 1 more with an air mattress where the small dinette is located.

The larger trailers that we've seen seem to offer more living area than sleeping accommodations. What year and size Hi-Lo trailers should we be looking for? What floor plans offer what we are looking for?

89HiLo,

We have a 2004 31ft and we can sleep 5 comfortably 6 if necessary. We have the king bed in the back which we took the nightstand out and built another lower cabinet for the water heater so we could do the king bed and then we have the sofa on the tipout which sleeps 2 and then we have the bench dinette which really only sleeps one adult or two children. We could also lay a air mattress on the floor if need be. Ours said it could sleep 6.
