What makes 24T so tall?

Hi Forum,
We own a 2008 22T which just barely fits in our 7 ft tall garage door.
This is our second Hi-Lo and we have owned Hi-Lo trailers for over approx. 30 years.
I would love to move up to the 24T with a tilt out ExpansA-Room, but it jumps 6 inches in height from 71" to 77".
The interior ceiling height is 75.5" for both the 22T and 24T.
Wheels on both models are both 15".
1) Does anyone know if it is the suspension that changes between models and causes the height increase?
2) If so, has anyone modified the suspension on a 24T so it will fit in a standard garage?
Thanks,
EPS3

I do not know about yours but our older 23 C was real low and I had a klift kit put in. Maybe somebody did the same with that one.

Thanks for the info. The dimensions that I quoted are stock dims for the 2008 22T and 24T. My questions relate to modifying a 24T so it is the height of a 22T.

Maybe?

Some trailers, both travel and cargo have moved their spring mounting from axles on top of springs to under the springs which will give you inches of height to the trailer overall without a lift kit. I do not have either model but this I have experienced with other trailers and varies by manufacturers and by model years, trailer type, and intended use (on top of spring to lower for equipment trailers). I hope this helps?
