Hey guys, I have a 1965 Bon Voyage. It does not have a spare tire, so I have to acquire one. Does anyone know what bolt pattern they used back then? Tire size is 7.OO X 15.

Well, torque pattern has more to do with how many lug nuts there are, than the age of the axle. Check the HTF library, this subject has been addressed several times. Furthermore, if needed, you'll find torque values in the 1969 Operators Manual, again in the HTF Library. Those values are probably the same for your 1965, as I believe the same axles were used for many years.

I believe you are asking for the correct wheel size. Diameter, width, and bolt pattern/diameter.

I think so too. You may find a "spec" on the wheel rim itself (a 4-character code?) that would let you know what values you have. Failing that, just measure one that's on the axle. You'll probably have to take the wheel off to do it accurately.

Yes, that's right. I don't know what the other guy is talking about with torque patterns and such! I thought it may have been a standard Chevy, Ford or Dodge wheel. Thanks for the help.

mststeve,
Sorry for taking you down the wrong path. I did misunderstand your question.
