Default "New" '63 HiLo

Just bought a '63 HiLo. I think it's a 9.5 footer. Up for a total cosmetic and layout reno inside and a few things on the outside. Just FINALLY got the new trailer lights working today! Whew. Very excited to start this project. Starting this week with leveling up the cables apparently (found the instructions here). They are newly replaced but one front corner is lagging. Wish me luck, this is my first one!!

Bet that little unit has been on numerous fishing trips. Good luck with your refurbish. Look forward to "after" pictures.

Default Repairs

Just saw your you tube video and the pictures you had previously posted. It is a 1963 HiLo. I,m not familiar with the construction of this year HiLo. I hope someone can come along to help you. The thing you might end up doing is consulting with JR in Mount Vernon Ohio. We did extensive restoration of our water damaged walls in our 1990 HiLo Classic. I documented with words and pictures on Photo bucket. My computer expert daughter will have to help me post the link for you. She is working at Home Depot right now.

Any videos or links are helpful. No rush! I'll be working on her for a while I'm sure! Been trying to scour the forum posts and manuals here. Thanks so much to you all for putting together such great info!

Default Major roof repair

Hi Sam,
Do you have the link to your HiLo repair? I saw it several years ago but now can't find it. We are about to tackle ours and it has a lot of roof problems so I think we'll have to redo most of the roof. I'm looking for what to use to replace the wood and what to use for the metal roof. I saw a message where roofers use whatever we need but I'm not sure what to even ask for. As I remember you did quite a repair on yours with lots of information.

Thanks,

Donna
