What do you use to coat the top?

Hilo repair We had j&r repair a leak in our hilo roof ( new roof and wall repair) in 2015. $7,950. The same problem has happened again. Since they're no longer in business I guess we're going to find another way to fix it. Any suggestions on how to repair the roof? We can't find the leak. 😭

A continuing problem...thanks to a post on the forum I charged the battery from the house. It held overnight. I tried to raise the top and it goes a couple of inches and won't go higher. A cable problem now?

Thank you both. I have the compartment for storage so do I remove it before putting the 2x4s to support the top? I'm going to have to check if there is somewhere to put the sewer hoses in the back bumper. Our HiLo is 1999 and I don't remember a place for that. This has just been a difficult...

Thanks. Hmm, what are the outriggers. The piece on the back is a bin, I think for sewer hoses.

I'm working on adjusting cables. My 1999 24 ft Hilo has a storage compartment on the back. I think I have to take that off so I can put the 2x4 onto the frame rails? Anyone have experience with this?

Can I raise my Hilo if I plugged into electric but don't install the battery.

The side bar is ust a bit lower than where it goes into the camper. Brute force finally moved it. Success

Our awning has jammed, thankfully up. The strap has rolled up in it. Everything I've read says to get someone on each side and gently pull it down. The back side moves but the front won't budge. Any ideas on what to do?

Still working on the air conditioner. It is getting no power. It's a 98 HiLo. We can find where the 12 volt wires go up but not the 120.

Wonderful! Thank you. The foam filter on the air conditioner has deteriorated and I found that in a sheet that I could cut to size at Ace yesterday. I hadn't thought to check there for this.

Now that I've figured out how to put water in the HiLo I tried to check out the drain. It's plastic and as I tried to turn it the piece you use to turn it broke off. Any ideas where to find one? It's on the bottom front and is round. It screws in and the valve sticks out.

I'm trying to get the nut off the spare tire bolt and even a deep socket won't go far enough to engage the nut. Any ideas where to get a deeper socket? We tried a wrench and it's just tearing up the nut.

I'm working on our HiLo that hasn't been used for quite a few years. Should the air conditioner work if the camper is plugged in at home? The fans work but not the air conditioner.
