beachbum, on my 1984 funchaser, the upper lights was a yellow wire from the front coiled cord down the left side(drivers)along the bottom of the top section to the area behind the drivers side taillights then it went up to the inside lights in the top. Mine was broken behind the left taillight...
here is the connector on my trailer.
1. white- ground goes to black beside the CB
2. blue - Brakes goes to trailer brake wire
3. brown - tail lights goes to terminal block by the battery
4. black - 12volt plus from the vehicle battery to terminal on the CB.
5. yellow - left turn and stop lights...
The door lock on my 1984 was different from the newer trailers. I took the trailer to my locksmith and he made me a key. As long as you can open the door, I would remove the door lock and take it to a locksmith.
Some units have two start capacitors, one for the fan and another one for the compressor. Some unites have a three way start capacitor one half for the fan and one half for the compressor. Some units do not have a start capacitor for the fan, only for the compressor. Hopefully the wiring diagram...

My 1991 26C had the door holder that clipped on the edge of the door and also had a rubber bumper for the door when it was open. this 1984 I have now the holder is rusted away and I would like to find a replacement. I will look some more on the internet to see if I find one there.

I have replaced the trailer connector to the fist four on the terminal block and found that the last two of the terminal block is internal connections. I will post the actual wires by tb number next week after I get back home.
I found a broken wire at the end of the coiled cord after I removed the plate that the coiled cord goes through at the top of the trailer. I checked for voltage at the radio with a multimeter and no voltage was there. After I repaired the broken wire the radio works correctly.
