Lifting Modification - Winches or Linear Actuators

Just Have To Ask I was thinking that maybe what Trailmanor used on the "Rise" that was Hi-Lo like in up/down not foldout, supposedly something the military may have used, was an alternative. It was my understanding that all 4 corners operated independently, but someone had expressed a concern...

    2020Hi Lo

I googled and also searched "RV Business" and "The Small Trailer Enthusiast" and none had any mention of Hi-Lo for 2020. I don't believe the small units that were manufactured by the "new" Hi Lo did well. No bath at their price point was probably an issue. There is always the possibility that...

Beautiful job! Could you tell us what faucet you used and where it came from as we have been looking and didn't see anything that short in our local area. Thanks!

Hi-Lo With The Tip-Out Well Insulated?

Thanks, sounds good on the tip-out! Yes, as it dips to freezing and below, especially with a wind, it can be difficult to keep just about any trailer warm, although we had a Forest River entry level TT that presented us with a much more difficult winter in NC. The Hi-Lo is better thought out...

Hi-Lo With The Tip-Out Well Insulated?

We have been pretty happy with our 2310. We have seen the many issues people have with their new ones despite the cost of the unit. We have 2 larger dogs, think step-over, step-over again and again, so are considering looking for a 25XX with the tip-out. I am wondering if anyone can advise as...

    Roofvent

Although pricey, this website has a lot of sizes they are calling "escape hatches": https://www.rvpartscenter.com/shop-by-categories/list2/vents-roof-supplies/rv-escape-hatch-exit-vent If you google "escape hatch" instead of "vent" more choices do come up in that size.

    2018 hi-lo wanderer sd

It didn't seem to catch on, most likely the price over small standard TTs. I am small trailer obsessed and never saw anyone post on them. The most info I had seen was on: Small Trailer Enthusiast If it were me, and I was interested in one, I would use the standard checklist for shopping to...

Anyone Seen The "New" Hi Lo In Person?

Thanks! Yeah, I'm just not sure about them. It doesn't appear they are going to really take off with them. I am often surprised, though, that so many people are just stumped by our Hi-Lo. They will stand there and look and look. Sometimes, they say, "With that so tall, it must be get a lot...

Anyone Seen The "New" Hi Lo In Person?

I noticed that the prices for the "new" Hi Lo being manufactured have dropped quite a bite on RVTrader making them an attractive choice vs others in that price range. They look sharp, but small and without a shower/toilet. Has anyone seen one of these in person? I wonder how similar they are...

    2018 Hi Lo

They're back! Just got the info on my FB page with a link to ebay where they have one of each model, 2 total going for $17, 495 each buy it now. Neither have baths, but they both look great. Kerola Camper Store is handling them. They call them "The Wanderer". A 16RB and a 16SD. Trailers...

    Two-Part Door And The Wind?

I love everything about our Hi-Lo BUT the door! We have recently had high winds, gusts up to 35 mph and trying to get in and out has been challenging. I have two larger dogs that I I have hold the door open for and one needs a little extra help requiring that I bend down some which means most...

Thinking about getting a smart tote for boondocking. Does anybody else use this for their black and gray water. What is your opinion on the smart tote, and how do you carry it when you travel. Thank you for your assistance.

    hydraulic fluid in line

While under my rig today with it in the up position, I noticed that the hydraulic lines to the ram are not full of hydraulic fluid. Some places I could see red, and others clear. Is this normal? Will I need to put more mil-h-5606 hydraulic fluid in the reservior?

    2010/2011 Front Window

Thank You. We are just starting to deal with our front window on our 2310. Definitely, "a horse of a different color"! Definitely keep us updated on how your "fix" goes. I think this trailer spent a lot of time not being used and in the closed position but under cover. The front window area...

A Big Thanks To Everyone Here!

Years ago, we had some interest in Hi-Lo but didn't have a tow vehicle that would handle one. Thinking about them again brought me to this website and if not for the website and all the members anxious to share info, we would not have purchased our Hi Lo. This website was a definite "value...

    Camper Batteries

Thanks everyone! We just couldn't decide if these were the original or not. They seem to be working. We have that solar charging thingy in the closet and it appears to be functioning also. It is frustrating since no records were kept, but we were lucky to get a packet of info that is issued...

    Camper Batteries

Recently purchased a 2310. Came with 2 batteries hooked in parallel. One which is a service free battery, and the other you can access cells through top. Both batteries do not have any indication of how old they are. (i.e. dates are not punched out) Can someone tell me whether the original...
